Job descriptionRenovation Estimate cost of projects Prepare detailed specifications Create interior spaces that reflect clients' needs and tastes Read blueprint, schemas and drawings Advise on selection of colours, finishes and materials, lighting, furniture and other items, taking into account ergonomic and occupational health standards Consult with clients to determine needs, preferences, safety requirements and purpose of space Develop detailed plans and 3-D models showing arrangement of walls, dividers, displays, lighting and other fixtures Develop plans, elevations, cross sections and detailed drawings Visit trade shows, showrooms, factories and product design events Provide economic feasibility studies and preliminary estimates for proposed projects Prepare, present and manage budgets Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support Direct quality control inspections Meet with clients to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs and timelines Recommend suitable products Present and explain proposals to clients Coordinate work activities to ensure projects meet deadlines and budgets Coordinate subcontractors activities 3D graphic software Adobe Photoshop AutoCAD Autodesk REVIT InDesign MS Word SketchUp V-Ray Reports and records Site inspections Interior and space planning Interior design (general) Furniture design Residential Retail business Flooring Kitchen cabinets and vanities Valid driver's licence Own vehicle Willing to travel Attention to detail Ability to distinguish between colours Combination of sitting, standing, walking Fast-paced environment Tight deadlines Work under pressure Computer Cellular phone Accurate Client focus Efficient interpersonal skills Initiative Organized Team player Dental plan Disability benefits Health care plan Bonus Group insurance benefits Pension plan
