We are seeking a seasoned Experience Designer to join a dynamic team at the forefront of digital innovation in the financial services sector. In this role, you will be a dedicated advocate for the customer, utilizing human-centered design methodologies to solve complex problems and create seamless experiences across a broad digital and physical ecosystem.
The ideal candidate is a storyteller who thrives on collaboration, possesses a deep curiosity for human-centric innovation, and is comfortable presenting work to diverse stakeholders. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of creatives to generate insights, concepts, and industry-leading products used by millions.
This is a 7-month contract with potential for extension. The role requires the talent to work onsite at our client's office 3 days per week, moving to 4 days later in 2026.
Responsibilities
- Transform complex problems into elegant and user-friendly customer experiences.
- Lead ideation, concept development, and experience innovation efforts.
- Create essential design deliverables including sketches, wireframes, specifications, prototypes, scenarios, and storyboards .
- Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure successful design intent implementation.
- Act as the primary advocate for the user throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Actively stay abreast of current design methodologies, practices, and industry trends.
- Participate in customer research activities, including observational studies and usability testing.
- Effectively communicate conceptual ideas, detailed designs, and the rationale behind design approaches to diverse audiences.
- Contribute to shaping the strategic experience design approach for key projects and initiatives.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of overall relevant UX Design experience, including public site experience (e.g., banking).A degree in design or a design-related discipline (e.g., industrial design, user-centered design, design strategy, design management, human factors, human-computer interaction, etc.).Expert proficiency with design tools such as Figma (3+ years' experience), Axure, and Adobe's Creative Suite .Proven ability to work with and simplify complicated flows .Strong prototyping skills demonstrated through various techniques : sketch, paper, wireframe, video, or interactive prototypes.Solid understanding of web and mobile technologies .Excellent organizational, logical, and analytical skills, with meticulous attention to detail .Strong verbal and written communication skills , with the ability to ask good questions, communicate ideas to a diverse audience, and constructively integrate feedback.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate well in a team environment and interact with stakeholders (approx. 25% of the role).Animation skills, particularly for page transitions, isa nice to have.Experience in the financial services, investing, and / or insurance industries .If you are a results-oriented Senior UX Designer ready to deliver impactful and customer-centric solutions, we encourage you to apply today!
