YOUR ROLE :

Hexagon’s Safety, Infrastructure and Geospatial division is seeking a Solution Consultant – Presales to join its team in Canada, focusing on Canada’s Defence Industry. This position is open to applicants across Canada (in-office or remote); however, qualified candidates in Ottawa or Montreal region are strongly preferred. Candidates will be required to travel to client sites in Canada.

As a solution consultant, you will collaborate with the sales account team, and leading in assessing and understanding customer needs, presenting Hexagon products, and recommending technical solutions that address customer business requirements and optimize value for both the customer and Hexagon.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced geospatial professional with strong technical and interpersonal skills, commercial orientation, and knowledge of Canada’s Defence Industry to join a dedicated and collaborative team.

YOUR MISSION :

  • Collaborate with sales account team to explore and assess customer requirements.
  • Present solutions to meet client goals, highlighting technical advantages to help win business.
  • Act as liaison between sales / business development and services / delivery team to align solution design with customers’ business and technical requirements.
  • Contribute to proposals for customers, supplying technical details of proposed solutions.
  • Attend conferences, meetings, and other events to represent Hexagon products and solutions.
  • Communicate new and emerging product requirements to product development teams.

Qualifications

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE :

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, geomatics engineering, or similar.
  • 5+ years’ experience with geospatial processes, technologies, and formats.
  • 5+ years’ experience as an application or solution consultant in the Defence Industry.
  • Proven technology skills, combined with outstanding interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication in English. French language is a plus.
  • Attention to detail, analytical and creative problem-solving capabilities.
  • Intellectual curiosity and desire for lifelong learning.
  • Positive, service-oriented personality.
  • Willingness to travel periodically, as needed.
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Must be eligible for security clearance in Canada.
