The Production Supervisor plays an integral role within our manufacturing facilities on the afternoon shift. You will lead by example, provide leadership and guidance to the team, and promote a culture where safety comes first. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and focus on continuous improvement, collaborating with others to encourage new ideas.

What You’ll Do / Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring employees are trained on proper equipment use in compliance with OHSA, JHSC recommendations, MOL work orders, company safety policies, GMPs, and HACCP requirements, including all required documentation.
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet quality, safety, and production objectives.
- Assign employees, establish work priorities, and resolve operational issues to ensure efficient workflow.
- Oversee production activities to ensure implementation, verification, and compliance with GMP, HACCP, etc., in accordance with applicable legislation.
- Takes initiative and exercises timely and good judgment in day-to-day business decisions to drive efficiency.
- Assist in accident investigations and participate in WSIB case management, ensuring early and safe return of injured workers to modified and / or productive duties.
- Develop, direct, manage, train, and motivate employees by clearly communicating job expectations, appraising results, coaching, counseling, and disciplining as needed.
- Administration of company policies and procedures.
- Recognize, support, and commit to the Food Safety promise and facility mission statement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce waste in the manufacturing process.
