Position Summary

Under the general supervision of and responsible to the Regional Manager, the HR Assistant is committed to the vision, mission, values and strategic priorities of Prairie Mountain Health. The Human Resources Assistant is an important team member of the Human Resources Team and is responsible for providing administrative, organizational and clerical support to various areas in the Human Resources Workplace Safety & Health portfolio. The Human Resource Assistant will also engage in activities to promote and enhance programs, participating in opportunities for growth and advancement within the Human Resources portfolio. The Human Resource Assistant functions in a confidential capacity in matters relating to labour relations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fit testing of applicable site and regional program employees as defined by the PMH Fit Testing program.
• Data entry and run reports related to fit testing records.
• Maintain communication with managers to keep fit testing current, arranging testing as required.
• Order and maintain supplies and equipment maintenance or repair as required.
• Within the PMH Incident Reporting system, work with applicable Managers and HR Consultants to ensure necessary follow‐up and investigations into WPSH related incidents are completed.
• Develop, amend, compile, and input data into databases, network files, SharePoint, QHR, etc. as required.
• Assist in maintaining filing and general correspondence in support of the Workplace Safety & Health portfolio.
• Provide administrative support as required to the Human Resource Consultants for Workplace Safety & Health.
• Other duties as required.
