Position Overview

Job Title : Cost and Ledger Accountant Supervisor

Reports to : Controller

Location : In‑person (Kingsville, ON)

Job Type : Full‑time, Permanent

Pay : $65,000.00–$75,000.00 per year

Position Summary : The Cost and Ledger Accountant Supervisor manages cost accounting and general ledger operations, ensuring financial accuracy, ERP integration, and cost control. The role requires strong accounting expertise, attention to detail, and leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management (50%)

• Manage full‑cycle accounting : accounts payable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and reconcile the Balance Sheet using ERP systems.
• Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements aligned with GAAP and ASPE.
• Lead cost accounting : inventory analysis, production cost tracking, and variance reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis for production and supply chain.
• Analyze financial data for insights on cost efficiency and profitability.
• Recommend and implement improvements to financial systems and reporting tools.
• Support system upgrades and project‑based financial analysis.

Staff Management (15%)

Financial Systems & ERP Administration (30%)
