Job Title : Commissioning Manager

Location : Montreal, ON (on-site is required)

Contract : Full-time permanent

The position is created to support go live of a recycling plant (CENTRE DE TRAITEMENT DES MATIÈRES ORGANIQUES PAR BIOMÉTHANISATION) 60k tons of waste collected for Montreal (and the vicinity) per year, first treatment to isolate what's nonorganic, treatment of the remaining part and production of biomethane as result of the waste to use it (for the city & other industries).

Day to day activities

• Initial planning of the go-live for the plant
• start-up planning for several procedures : electricity, compressed air, water circulation (some procedures will be given by Veolia, the prioritization will need to be done by the commissioning manager)
• verification of programs and processes by circulating water
• supervise the tests
• plan & modification of the schedule (by assessing the priorities)
• have experience starting up this type of plant, troubleshooting
• experience in the large petrochemical, oil&gas industry may qualify
