About the work environment :
Peoples Group offers a flexible and hybrid work environment. In this role you will work a combination of in-office and remotely from home. Typically, you'll be working regular business hours, Monday to Friday between 8 : 00am and 4 : 30pm with flexibility around start / end times.
We are hiring for this position out of our Toronto office. Successful candidates who apply outside of these areas will be expected to relocate and reside in a location that is within a commutable distance.

About the qualifications :
- 5+ years of technical Business Systems Analyst experience.
- Experience with nCino and Salesforce.
- Experience in the banking or financial services sectors strongly preferred, especially a working understanding of commercial lending products and processes.
- Excellent ability to create technical user-stories that align product vision, scope and requirements.
- Independently leading sessions to gather information and requirements from key stakeholders.
- Effective communicator – experience liaising between stakeholders and users, and effective at storytelling and distilling complex concepts down into understandable components.
- Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, as well as other across the team / department.
- Ability to assist with and review test-case and test tools and provide feedback to QA team on domain specific testing requirements.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience using Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Computer software engineering background is considered an asset.
About the day-to-day :
Work with Product Owner to understand high-level requirements and capture business needs to drive out the vision and build of our commercial lending origination system.Work with your Squad (developers, testers, DevOps) to refine, estimate, build, test and launch product features.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, document, and analyze business requirements to drive accurate implementation of solutions.Facilitate collaborative sessions with diverse business and technology stakeholder groups to drive both business and systems requirements in discovery, analysis, and review, and acting as a liaison between the groups.Conduct detailed business process analysis and develop comprehensive process flow diagrams, user stories, functional specification documents, system and data mapping and use cases to facilitate system design and development.Ensure enough prioritized and groomed backlog that meets Definition of Ready is available for the team before the sprint starts while maintaining a 2-3 sprint backlog lead.Coordinating UAT activities and assist with other QA activities such as defining test scenarios, test cases, test acceptance criteria, performing smoke testing, and reporting testing results.Create and maintain documentation regarding all aspects of the product, including product operations, compliance, product launch processes, and system functionality.Manage risks, assumptions, and constraints for requirements, and communicate to appropriate stakeholders and partners.Provide support during system implementation, including user training and post-implementation activities.Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies related to lending products.Annual Compensation :
Peoples Group is pleased to offer employees a competitive annual salary plus a discretionary profit share opportunity. In addition, we are pleased to offer employees both group benefits and the option to participate in our RRSP matching program, beginning the first day of employment. Salary for this position will vary between $90,000 and $115,000 per year depending on the knowledge, skills, abilities and experience that the chosen candidate possesses. As part of our recruiting process, shortlisted candidates will be asked their salary expectations for this position.
