Do you have a willingness to learn and a drive to excel? Our Sales / Finance Trainee Representative (Discovery Rep) role is the perfect opportunity for you! This role offers a comprehensive training program where you will be able to spend 6 to 9 months gaining knowledge experience working in sales, finance, business development and / or product management.

At the conclusion of the program, you will be assessed by managers from each group and assigned to a position that maximizes your strengths.

  • Capable of executing instructions and requesting clarification when needed.
  • Demonstrates strong proficiency in data entry.
  • Showcases adeptness in complex problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making.
  • Recognizes and attends to important details with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Communicates clearly and effectively conveys necessary information.
  • Conduct lead generation activities via call campaigns to uncover new business opportunities for technology companies.
  • Execute sales activities in alignment with KPIs and metrics.
  • Prospect, call, set up, and confirm meetings between technology companies and government customers.
  • Document all calls, sales activities, and customer / technology company interactions in our company CRM.
  • Establish and maintain ongoing business relationships with technology company reps, channel partner reps, and government customers.
  • Achieve all measurable daily performance standards (calls, orders, sell time, quota).
  • Provide pricing and product availability to customers as required.
  • Position products and service programs suited to customer’s business needs.
  • Attend all scheduled TD SYNNEX training initiatives, reseller / Industry events, TD SYNNEX events.

Your passion is sparked by :

  • Recent graduate from an accredited college or university with a focus on Business Administration and are looking for an entry level Sales / Finance opportunity.
  • Demonstrated business communication skills (both verbal and written) with the ability to converse with customers effectively over the phone
  • Proven interpersonal skills and capable of learning, applying and presenting sales principles / techniques within a short timeframe
  • Advanced computer skills capable of multi-tasking and / or work on multiple sales accounts concurrently
  • Must be number and detail-oriented
  • High degree of ethics and integrity a must
  • Ability to multitask in a high-stress, fast-paced environment
  • Work under general supervision
