🌄WORK-LIFE BALANCE🌄
Experience the best of both worlds with our hybrid model! Enjoy the freedom of regular office hours while building a rewarding career supporting public health in Indigenous communities. As a full-time nurse, you’ll spend about half of your time making a real difference on the ground in First Nations and Inuit communities, and the other half working from home on engaging virtual assignments. This unique balance lets you combine meaningful impact with the flexibility and comfort of working from home.

Unlike many traditional nursing roles, this position comes with minimal overtime and a schedule you can actually manage. Surge nurses are typically mobilized to communities for 3–4 weeks at a time. These mobilizations are followed by periods of working from home on virtual assignments, along with dedicated time off to rest and recharge. This rotation model ensures a balance between meaningful community work and personal life.

So, relax with that book you’ve started but not finished, catch up on Netflix shows you’ve not had the time to enjoy, hang out with family and friends, or explore new or old hobbies – you’ll have the balance you’ve always wanted while still making a real impact in Indigenous communities. This is your chance to grow your nursing career AND live life on your terms.
