The Person : The ideal candidate will be a team player with a commitment to meeting deadlines and an aptitude to thrive in a fast paced multi-tasking environment.
Responsibilities : - Responsibilities will include defining and managing key product deliverables / schedules and driving cross functional activities.
- The applicant will be responsible for pre-silicon planning and once silicon arrives, will drive customer samples execution and high volume manufacturing readiness.
- Managing horizontally across several functional organizations is a key job function. The role will require working hand-in-hand with our Asia Engineering and Operations counterparts, extensive interactions within the Product Engineering organization, and interacting with several other internal organizations (Design, Platform, Supply Chain, Business and Customer Engineering).
Preferred Skill set & Experience : - Experience w / taking ASICs, GPUs, or CPUs from 1st Silicon to volume production - Experience working in a team environment and actively driving solutions - Outstanding written and oral communication skills - Strong interpersonal skills - Experience in managing horizontally across multiple internal functional organizations (Engineering US and abroad, Supply Management, Finance) - Background in Solid State Physics, Computer Architecture, Digital or Analog Design - Background in Product Engineering or Program Management Education : BSc or MSc in related discipline Location : Markham, Canada #LI-AP3 #LI-HYBRID Benefits offered are described : AMD benefits at a glance.
