SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

School District No. 58 (Nicola-Similkameen) is seeking a 0.5 FTE Continuing Speech-Language Pathologist to serve Princeton beginning September 1, 2021.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

Must possess a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

Must be a member, or eligible to become a member, of the BCASLPA or CASLPA.

Proven willingness to work as part of an educational team providing speech-language services with emphasis on students at the elementary level.

Experience working within a school and community health environment.

Salary is based on the teachers’ salary grid, with a full range of benefits available and a mileage allowance while on the job will be provided.

Princeton and Merritt make up the major communities of the Nicola-Similkameen School District. Princeton is located in the Similkameen Valley and is the gateway to the Southern Okanagan.

Princeton is the centre for outdoor recreation throughout the year. Ranching, mining, tourism and forestry are four of the major economic industries in this community.
