Randstad Canada is currently partnering up with some of Winnipeg’s best companies that are looking for experienced Payroll Clerk to join their teams on a permanent basis.

As a Payroll Clerk, you’ll ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. You’ll handle payroll processing, maintain records, and support compliance with all payroll regulations.

Responsibilities

Duties will include but are not limited to :

  • Process payroll and ensure timely payments
  • Verify and input timesheet data
  • Maintain and update employees payroll records
  • Respond to payroll-related inquiries from staff members
  • Assist with audits and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
  • Qualifications

  • A diploma or degree in payroll is considered an asset
  • Previous experience in payroll processing or a similar role
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Quickbooks, Sage, SAP)
  • Accuracy in processing employee pay, calculating deductions, and reconciling payroll miscalculations
  • Knowledge of labor tax, tax regulations, and statutory deductions
