Delivery Specialist

Compensation : $16.50 - $24.50 per hour. The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may include annual, quarterly performance, or premiums tied to schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections.
• Keep vehicles clean, maintained, and perform daily vehicle inspections prior to operation.
• Keep delivery vehicles, keys, fuel / fleet credit cards, hand-held devices, and monies collected secure at all times.
• Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores, etc.) and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate any problems or special needs from customers to store management; report vehicle maintenance needs or accidents to the store manager immediately.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and lock and secure the vehicle at end of day.
• Clock in / out according to company policy.
• Assist with other duties as assigned, including customer service, stocking, merchandising, errands, handling core returns, and stock orders.
• May occasionally assist customers, serve as a cashier, and / or help with merchandising tasks when business dictates.
• All other duties as assigned.
