Mobile Security Guard

At Securiguard your hard work is recognized and rewarded! We are currently seeking to fill our looking to hire successful candidates for our mobile security guard position at our Alliston, ON site, close to the Orangeville, Tottenham, Bolton and Caledon area.

This position is a continental shift which requires full-time availability for day and night shift. The position rotates, 2 weeks on days and 2 weeks on nights, following a 4 week rotation as follows :

Week 1 : Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, 08 : 00-20 : 00

Week 2 : Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, 08 : 00-20 : 00

Week 3 : Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, 20 : 00-08 : 00

Week 4 : Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, 20 : 00-08 : 00

We are looking for someone who enjoys learning, is able to multi-task, have strong verbal and written communication skills, and a can work independently but also is a team player! Previous mobile security experience is considered an asset.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Conduct vehicular patrols of HCM campus and surrounding fence lines - car provided
• Conduct foot patrols as required and physically check gate security as required
• Open ups, lock ups, equipment checks as required
• Mobile patrol will deploy / collect parking pylons as required. This is a physical task and the mobile guard must be able to lift 25lbs into the mobile patrol vehicle
• Conduct parking enforcement checks, write, and issue parking tickets, traffic monitoring and reporting as per Standard Operating Procedures
• Act as fire or medical emergency first responder as required per Standard Operating Procedures
• Developing and implementing standard operating procedures for reporting, and dealing with incidents when applicable
• Carrying out duties while maintaining excellent standards of customer care
• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property and investigating
