Our client is one of the largest and, fastest growing residential owner and operators with strong national presence in Canada. With over $10 billion dollars in assets, they are currently seeking a Real Estate Documentation Specialist to join their team in Montreal. This is a newly created role for our client, due to their immense growth. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing lease agreements, liaising with external legal professionals, compiling leases and amending clauses.

Compensation
$70,000 – $80,000 annually + additional perks.
Position Description
As the successful candidate, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Managing all existing legal real estate documentation
- Drafting/reviewing new documents relating to agreements with Tenants, Vendors, Purchasers, Lenders, Borrowers, Suppliers, Brokers, Governmental Bodies and other parties
- Managing revision of standard form template agreements
- Communication with outside legal counsel as necessary regarding legal documentations
- Communication with Tenants, realtor and other parties as needed
Experience
In order to be COMPETITIVE for this position, you will have:
- 5 + years of experience working as a paralegal or legal documentation representative within a law firm or corporate real estate firm
- Experience interpreting, drafting, reviewing, tweaking, etc. lease documentations within the Residential Real Estate sector
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills a MUST. Ideally experience with Microsoft Office and Yardi Voyager /7s would be an asset
- MUST be fully bilingual (verbal and written)
