Job Title :  Interim Controller (Contract)

Location :  Greater Hamilton Area (Onsite – 4 days / Remote 1 day)

Duration :  3 months contract.

Industry :  Multi-location Business Group

Overview :

A growing business group with multiple locations in the Greater Hamilton Area is seeking an Interim Controller for a three-month assignment to provide hands-on leadership during a period of transition.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage month-end and year-end close processes
• Oversee full-cycle accounting, including AP, AR, payroll, and reconciliations
• Prepare financial statements and management reports
• Support consolidated reporting across multiple business units
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal policies
• Partner with the CFO to ensure smooth financial operations
• Recommend and implement process improvements as needed
