Well-established company here in Montreal for over 50 years, operating in many industries such as oil, gas, energy, chemical, nuclear, naval, mining, etc. They are looking for a warehouse manager who will report to the plant's general manager.

Main responsibilities :

Responsible for all aspects of material flow, controlling the accuracy of all merchandise inventories.
Create material and supply chain management strategies for the plant.
Coordinate, supervise and optimize receiving and warehousing procedures
Monitor inventory levels, and ensure material availability in case of emergency
Work with production to gather information on raw material consumption
Supervise, evaluate and coach unionized employees due to the collective agreement.

Skills and qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in logistics or other relevant fields, specializing in materials management or supply chain management.

Minimum 7 years' experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.

Experience in total quality, Six Sigma, project management.
