In this role, you will be dedicated to fostering employee growth and development through the planning, communication, and execution of training programs.At the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, we believe learning should be fun, which is why we’re looking for someone who brings creativity and innovation to their training approach, with a facilitation style that is engaging, passionate, and flexible. This role requires confidence and the ability to comfortably present trainings to groups of 8 to 100+ participants, ensuring every session is impactful and memorable.Job Duties Include : Reporting to the Assistant Director of Talent & Culture, responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following : Coordinate and deliver a world-class onboarding experience for several hundred new colleagues, including organizing, communicating, and facilitating their two-day orientation to the hotelAssist with the preparation, setup, teardown, and running of all training sessionsDesign appealing training advertisements using CanvaTrack departmental attendance and training task completionCommunicate consistently with leaders regarding departmental completion of training tasks and attendanceAssist with the creation and implementation of training materials and presentationsChampion the administration of the INES platform (Accor Talent & Culture System) which assists with record keeping, training classes, and leadership performance development / reviewsOther duties and travel as assignedQualificationsYour Skills & Qualifications : Previous experience in learning and development and facilitation is requiredExperience in creating and implementing training materials is requiredProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) is requiredExperience in the luxury hotel / hospitality industry assetExperience in Human Resources / Talent and Culture is an assetUniversity or College degree in Hotel / Restaurant Management, Human Resources, Education or a related discipline is an assetProficiency with graphic design software, such as Canva, is an assetAdditional InformationVisa Requirements : Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
