The Analysis and Business Solutions team is looking for a candidate to join as a Senior Actuarial Advisor. Are you interested in working in a multi-disciplinary team with people from various backgrounds (actuaries, data scientists, data specialists) in a motivating environment in which we focus on developing our people?
Then you may be the one we are looking for! Morespecifically, youwillberequired to :
Lead and construct complex mandates by diagnosing the issue and advising on potential solutions
Keep on pace with new advancements in advanced analytics and applying them to your work
Communicate the assumptions and results of your analyses effectively to various internal stakeholders and management
Represent the actuarial department on decision-making committees or in meetings
Act as the subject matter expert and a reference source in your field for other teams in the organization
Coach more junior members of the team

What you bring to the table
Bachelor's degree in a related field
A minimum of seven years in Actuarial Science, Mathematics or Statistics
Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
Experience in P&C insurance
Knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec
Advanced knowledge of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and / or clients
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of SAS, VBA, R
