Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Sr Technical Designer position based in Montreal, QC. The Sr Technical Designer will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to oversee the technical design process from concept to final product. Key tasks include creating technical specifications, analyzing garment construction, ensuring high‑quality fittings, providing technical solutions for production challenges, and working closely with pattern makers to execute designs that align with brand standards. The role requires effective communication with internal teams and external vendors to maintain consistency and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Technical Design, Garment Construction, and the ability to conduct effective Fittings.
• Experience in Pattern Making and the technical aspects of garment Architecture.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high‑quality apparel.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate with teams, troubleshoot design challenges, and ensure alignment with brand standards.
• Educational background in Fashion Design, Apparel Production, or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with pattern‑making software and proficiency in relevant tools for technical design is a plus.
