About the role .

The Health and Safety Specialist role is a one-year contract that involves overseeing safety practices coachingsafe work behaviors and leading incident investigations at the Project Sunlight facility. Additionally it includessupporting health and safety programs documenting incidents and ensuring compliance with safetyprotocols like LOTO and inspections.

What youll be doing.

• Responsible for observing and maintaining safety work practices throughout the facility
• Coaching and intervention of safe work practices
• Maintain initiate lead and document incident investigations
• Participation in Health and Safety Programs including Safety Interactions GEMBA and Risk
• Assessments
• Support incident reporting tracking and monitoring incident rates per shift
• Be a resource and lead safe facilitation of LOTO when needed
• Document Control and Audits such as inspection forms incident reports investigations etc.
• Communication of safety incidents and toolbox safety moments
• Assisting in Health and Safety program completion

Compensation Package : $ -$ Starting at 34.57 CAD hourly Hourly Pay Differential for applicable shifts

The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience skill set education and training and other organizational needs. This posting is for an existing vacancy.
