Guidewire Policy Center Developer

Job Description

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Configuration / integration and Guidewire Implementations in Policy Center
• Exposure working in GW cloud implementations.
• 10+ years of experience in Java / J2ee (EJB, Servlets, JSP, JDBC, Web Services, JMS, JPA).
• Able to configure / Integrate the applications using XML and GOSU
• Insurance Knowledge specifically Personal Lines Claims and Commercial Claims
• Relational Database and Data Modeling experience
• Strong Java server-side programming experience with a solid understanding of object-oriented concepts
• Experience with Scrum or other Agile development methodologies
• Experience with messaging, Webservices and database connectivity
• Strong oral and written communication skills

The primary functions of this role consist of :

Responsible for designing and implementing Configuration / integration points between external applications / services and the Guidewire® platforms.

Partner with client business teams to understand business objectives and configuration / integration requirements.

Produce technical design documents for configuration / integration points.

Develop custom configuration / integration points to connect Guidewire applications with other internal and external systems.
