Sr. IT Project Manager

Position Description:

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at a Client office at a minimum 5 days per month - subject to change at any time.

The Project Manager IT is responsible for leading and overseeing the successful delivery of complex cross-functional technology programs. This role ensures alignment between business objectives and IT solutions manages stakeholder relationships and drives high-quality execution across multiple projects. The Senior Project Manager brings leadership strategic thinking and deep experience in program and project management within IT environments.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

. Lead large-scale IT programs from inception to completion ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
. Manage multiple interrelated projects working with project managers and cross-functional teams.
. Drive the planning execution monitoring and successful delivery of IT initiatives.
. Develop detailed program roadmaps schedules and budgets.
. Identify and manage program risks dependencies and issues escalating as necessary.
. Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements define scope and prioritize work.
. Facilitate regular program reviews with leadership and stakeholders providing clear reporting on progress and KPIs.
. Ensure compliance with organizational policies data security and IT governance.
. Lead continuous improvement efforts leveraging Agile Scrum or other project delivery methodologies.
. Mentor junior project managers and promote best practices in project and program management.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Education & Experience:
. Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Business or related field (Masters preferred).
. 710 years of experience in IT project/program management with banks with 2 years in a senior or leadership role.
. Proven track record managing large complex IT programs in enterprise environments.
Skills:
. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure software development cloud technologies and/or enterprise systems (e.g. ERP CRM).
. Exceptional leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.
. Proficiency with project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project Jira Smartsheet Asana).
. Familiarity with Agile Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
. Ability to manage budgets vendor contracts and offshore/onshore resources.
Certifications (preferred but not required):
. PMP (Project Management Professional)
. PgMP (Program Management Professional)
. SAFe Scrum Master or Agile certifications

**CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level geographic market experience and training and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95000$145000. This role is an existing vacancy.**
