Title - Onsite Manager

Location - Bolton, ON / Vaughan, ON

Pay Rate - $49k - $54k / annually

Hours - (Friday to Monday 5 AM – 3 : 30 PM)

The roles are that of Permanent On-Site Manager at multiple distribution centres in Brampton and Bolton. A representative of Arrow Workforce, a conduit between us and the client, you will be responsible for building relationships, maintaining a safe & efficient workplace and ensuring customer / client satisfaction. Detailed below are some of the responsibilities we at Arrow expect as we look to fill this role.

Responsibilities & Expectations :

  • Build and maintain relationships with key client / management figures to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Understand client’s vision, business strategy and policies.
  • Make sure all safety and health protocols are in place, followed and updated.
  • Screen, recruit and onboard new team members to their specified role.
  • Understand the different components / areas of distribution centre to ensure quality.
  • Tracking and maintaining metrics such as attendance, productivity, attrition and payroll.
  • Maintain relationship with staff / associates on a daily basis. Be approachable to their needs.
  • Understand training & SOPs of certain job roles.
  • Conflict resolution and de-escalating issues between team members and client.
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry changes in terms of recruitment; preparing for market peak.
  • Develop plans and strategies to efficiently manage sudden changes in staffing, safety and productivity.

Experience / Requirements :

  • Must have own vehicle and willing to travel to different client sites.
  • Must have supervisory experience.
  • Must have strong leadership skills, be able to perform tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Word; especially Excel.
  • Experience working at a distribution centre.
  • Able to work independently with little supervision.
  • Experience with following strict deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Recruitment and staffing experience an asset.
  • Experience with Uattend an asset.
