Position Summary
Based out of New Glasgow or Halifax, NS, the Senior Systems Analyst (18‑month contract) is responsible for ensuring optimal performance, configuration, integration, and user adoption of core enterprise applications and systems at Crombie. Additional duties include :
Ensuring ERP / HCM systems are consistently accessible and operational with minimal downtime, tracking and analysing system performance to meet defined standards.Collaborating across the organization to understand departmental needs and shape system roadmaps and enhancements that align with business strategies.Collaborating with end users on reporting requirements and creating a variety of reports to support strategic decision‑making.Analyzing maintenance and enhancement requests to deliver configuration requirements and integration initiatives, ensuring full lifecycle management from requirements gathering through post‑implementation support.Problem‑solving integration and end‑to‑end business processes, working with business to resolve functionality or programming issues, and providing technical training to end users.Identifying, logging, and tracking technical conflicts and problems and providing resolution.Proactively identifying opportunities for system and process improvements that drive automation, efficiency, and accuracy.Monitoring and maintaining system securities; supporting auditors to resolve deficiencies.Conducting thorough troubleshooting for system issues.Configuring, testing, and supporting assigned applications; testing new releases and patches end‑to‑end in a demo database environment.Owning and coordinating integration testing and user acceptance testing processes, including preparation of acceptance criteria and review of test plans and scenarios.Leading the rollout of approved releases and patches into production.Supporting technical aspects of systems during new application implementations and assisting users post‑implementation.Championing system training and change management efforts; developing user‑centric training materials for Oracle HCM and Yardi Voyager.Collaborating with Applications Analyst to ensure backup and recovery plans are current.Engaging across all levels of the organization to create and promote a safe and respectful work environment.Other special projects and tasks as assigned.The Profile We Are Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle HCM Cloud Certification, PMP) are considered assets.5‑7 years’ experience as a Systems Analyst or in a similar IT / business systems role.Proven experience supporting and configuring enterprise‑level ERP / HCM applications such as Oracle, HCM, and Yardi Voyager.Experience in systems integration, application lifecycle management, and user training / support.Hands‑on experience with business process improvement and automation initiatives.Strong knowledge of ERP / HCM system architecture and reporting tools.Proficiency in SQL, reporting platforms, and system integration techniques.Experience conducting end‑to‑end testing, including UAT and integration testing.Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise between technical teams and business stakeholders.Skilled at building relationships and influencing across departments and levels of the organization.Knowledge of project management principles and practices is an asset.Application Instructions
