Position Overview

The Ontario Technical Manager participates in all aspects of the technical production process, from problem‑solving and team coordination to the implementation of technical initiatives. They utilize their expertise in technology trends and business management to mentor team members, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and lead the technical team toward achieving the organization’s goals. The role is results‑driven and requires ensuring teams efficiently deliver the company promise (QVALIT) to customers and technical staff.

Position Type

Full‑time, permanent; requires full‑time on‑site work in a corporate office setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading and managing technical teams (hiring, onboarding, training, evaluating).
• Implementing technical projects according to the company rollout plan.
• Tracking performance trends.
• Ensuring quality assurance.
• Continuous technical improvement.
• Overseeing planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Mentoring and supporting team members in their professional development and technical skill enhancement.
• Reporting on project progress and team performance to senior management, providing insights for strategic decision‑making.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards, best practices, and security protocols.

Skill Requirements

Travel Requirements

This position may require occasional travel to various locations, including client sites, conferences, and corporate events. Candidates should be prepared for travel approximately 6 days per calendar month and / or up to 25% of the time as needed. All travel expenses will be reimbursed according to company policy.

Compensation

Salary $80 000 per year.
