Cascades Containerboard in Concord, ON is now hiring a Licensed (442A) Electrician. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor the successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks in a rotational shift setting

- New! Salary : $44.45 / hr
- Shift premium : $0.55 / hr for 3pm-11pm shifts; $1.50 / hr for 11pm-7am shifts
- Schedule : 12 hour rotating continental shift

Work in safe manner at all timesPerform preventative maintenance on all equipment according to PM scheduleExecute electrical repairs according to specifications and verbal directionImplement improvements and / or modifications to existing equipmentIdentify and perform corrective maintenance that could lead to downtime or line stoppageProvide detailed information regarding any required parts or tools that may be requiredPerform PLC installations, integration, improvements, modifications and start ups for the production lineTroubleshoot PLC drivers and controlsDocument findings for future referenceThere's nobody quite like you! Must be a licensed Industrial Electrician (442A)Experience with PLC logic in the following : Siemens and Allen BradleyFamiliar with material handling systems, conveyor systems, pumps, gearboxes, drive systems and industrial automationExperience using tools specific to the tradePrevious experience in a manufacturing environment considered an assetThorough understanding of Lock-Out / Tag-OutAbility to communicate with all levels of the organizationAbility to read electrical prints and OEM documentationWorking knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systemsUnderstand the cause and effect of downtime to the production lineWe look forward to meeting you!
