To pursue project and client development in the Sept-Îles region, BBA wants to bolster its local multidisciplinary team. Working closely with our offices in Labrador City, Montréal and Mont-Saint-Hilaire, this team is actively involved in developing the Sept-Îles region and in executing various projects in the mining and metals, and energy sectors. Your future role on our team

To pursue project and client development in the Sept-Îles region, BBA wants to bolster its local multidisciplinary team. Working closely with our offices in Labrador City, Montréal and Mont-Saint-Hilaire, this team is actively involved in developing the Sept-Îles region and in executing various projects in the mining and metals, and energy sectors. BBA's mechanical engineering teams stands out among Côte-Nord clients because of their cutting-edge technical expertise. This expertise is combined with an unrivalled commitment and understanding of the issues involved in operating and maintaining industrial mechanical equipment.

Your role as engineer and project leader will be to participate in engineering, in selecting technology and in executing projects in the mining, energy and heavy industry sectors; to help identify business opportunities with clients; and to draft winning proposals. You’ll play an essentially technical and project management role in the mandates assigned to you. You’ll contribute to the firm’s business development by maintaining business relationships with clients.

With us, you’ll get the opportunity to...

• Help write technical reports
• Lead and participate in designing plans, specifications and details based on guidelines from a senior engineer
• Perform design calculations and ensure that plans meet guidelines as well as code requirements and other regulations
• Prepare material lists and bills of lading in accordance with codes, standards, drawings and other methods in compliance with BBA’s quality system requirements
• Provide recommendations on establishing standards and other practical applications
• Coordinate the work of drafters or other team members
• Assign and review the work of less experienced engineers, technicians and support staff
• Ensure work complies with established budgets, schedules, estimates and procedures
• Plan, organize, lead and coordinate projects
• Perform technical information surveys
• Help commission and troubleshoot systems.Help draft proposals
