Liburdi Dimetrics is a leading developer of orbital welding systems for pipe and tube applications. Driven by a commitment to quality and innovation, our advanced selection of GTAW, GMAW, PAW, and Hot Wire orbital weld heads and welding power supplies delivers precision welding solutions across a wide range of industries. We are currently seeking a Mechanical Technologist.

Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to) :

Assembly of products using standard shop procedures, mechanical drawings, and other written or verbal instructions.
Assemble and test precision high-reliability electro-mechanical products and prototypes.
Perform repairs on production equipment.
Provide input of design requirements and drawings.
Provide input to specifications and procedures.
Accountable for mechanical portions of system or tooling building.
Participates in the commissioning of prototype and production machines.
Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.

Key Skill Requirements :

Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Excellent problem solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills

Strong multi-tasker

Experience in Microsoft applications, computer software and hardware

Key Education / Experience Requirements :

3-5 years’ experience in tooling and mechanical equipment is preferred

Mechanical Technologist diploma or equivalent is required

A mechanical aptitude with the ability to read mechanical drawings and bills of materials is required

Knowledge of quality control tools is required

Experience building and soldering wire assemblies is an asset
