Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements for IT solution projects.
- Define data specifications and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Work closely with the development team to integrate and transform data from various sources, ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Design and implement data models to support IT solution architecture.
- Collaborate with database administrators to optimize data storage and retrieval.
- Conduct data validation and verification to ensure the accuracy of information within IT solutions.
- Work with QA teams to establish and execute data testing strategies.
- Create and maintain documentation related to data processes and integrations.
- Generate reports and dashboards to communicate data insights to stakeholders.
- Provide data-related support during the development and deployment of IT solutions.
- Ensure that data handling within IT solutions complies with security and privacy regulations, implementing measures to safeguard sensitive data.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, Information Systems or a relevant discipline.Two years of experience as a Data Analyst within an IT environment.Proficient in data analysis tools and programming languages (SQL, R, Python).Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud).Strong understanding of database management systems and data warehousing.Experience with IT solution development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile).Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, cross‑functional environment.Excellent communication, collaboration, problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.Detail oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.Experience with cloud‑based data solutions (AWS, Azure, Fabric / Power BI Premium, GCP) – asset.Previous involvement in IT solution delivery projects – asset.Strong understanding of digital technologies, trends, and best practices – asset.Experience with machine learning and predictive modelling for digital applications – asset.Experience with analysing large and complex datasets – asset.Benefits
