Responsibilities :
Leading and conducting legal surveys such as boundary, subdivision, and construction surveys, ensuring adherence to Manitoba's regulatory standards.Preparing, reviewing, and filing detailed survey plans, reports, and related legal documentation.Managing and guiding field crews, ensuring precision and efficiency in data collection and fieldwork.Collaborating with clients, project managers, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.Ensuring compliance with Manitoba's land survey regulations, cadastral systems, and land title procedures.Utilizing and maintaining advanced surveying equipment, including GPS systems, total stations, and data collection devices.Engaging in business development efforts, including proposal writing and client interactions.Staying up to date with industry changes and regulatory updates.Requirements :
Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.A valid Manitoba Land Surveyor (MLS) designation in good standing.At least 5 years of hands-on experience in legal land surveying, including boundary, subdivision, and construction surveys.In-depth understanding of Manitoba survey laws, land titles, and cadastral systems.Proficiency with surveying tools, including GPS, total stations, and data collection devices.Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar surveying software.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to collaborate effectively with clients, field teams, and project staff.Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities, with experience managing field crews.A valid driver's license and availability to travel for project requirements.Don't miss out on this Manitoba Land Surveyor position.
