Required Qualifications :

  • Minimum (MS in Computer Science) experience in Java development
  • Minimum experience in J2EE (e.g. EJB, JSP, hibernate / JPA, Servlets, Portlets)
  • Minimum experience in FileNet (preferably 4.X or higher)
  • Experience with database access technologies (e.g., SQL) including DB2 and Oracle
  • Familiarity with client side UI technologies (e.g., HTML,CSS, Ajax / Dojo, JavaScript)
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Experience with the SDLC (Plan, Define, Design, etc.) in order to work outside of Agile where necessary. This will help at times when capturing / translating business needs (into technical capabilities and requirements, etc.)

Desired Qualifications :

  • Familiarity with UML (unified modeling language)
  • Familiarity with software management methodologies (e.g., RUP, Agile Development-Scrum, Kanban)
  • Familiarity with software engineering design patterns and best practices
  • Familiarity with community frameworks (e.g., Spring, Struts, Hibernate)
  • Familiarity with software configuration management tools
