Overview
The Procurement Manager for Knowledge Management & Content, is responsible for supporting the development and execution of the category plans for these categories, while helping to lead the contractual and commercial negotiations with third parties.
What you will do
- Negotiates contractual terms and conditions, detailed statements of work, pricing, service levels, and executes agreements for the assigned category / categories (Knowledge Management & External Content)
- Supports the execution and delivery of approved category plans for the Knowledge Management & External Content categories
- Analyzes and monitors buying channel options to ensure that the right, value-added channels are used for the different types of spend in the Knowledge Management & External Content categories
- Ensures all KPMGI and Global Procurement process requirements and controls are met for all contracts which are negotiated and processed
- Builds strong stakeholder relationships and leads global stakeholders and member firms in the negotiations for procurement of products / services in the Knowledge Management & External Content Categories and ensures binding commitments are received from all participating groups / member firms for goods / services purchased centrally and recharged to the users
- Maintains subject matter expertise and stays on top of industry, market, and supplier trends in the Knowledge Management & External Content categories
What you bring to the role
- Bachelor's Degree
- Certified Procurement professional qualifications are desirable. For example : (CSCP), (CPIM), (APICS), (CPSM), (ISM), The SCPro™ from (CSCMP), The Complete Skilled Negotiator™
- 5 years of strategic sourcing experience within knowledge management or content procurement category
- Have knowledge of sourcing and procurement principles and best practices
- Have sound commercial and contractual acumen - Be able to help draft, negotiate and execute strong contracts. These may include;
MSLA's (Master Service Level Agreements) , SLA (Service Level Agreements) SOW's (Statements of Work) and Maintenance agreements
Understanding of supplier management (managing technical, schedule, commercial, and terms and conditions compliance
