Hays Specialist Recruitment has partnered with a largest Canadian ship repair and constructionpany located in Hamilton, ON. We are looking to hire a Procurement Administrator to join their team on a contract basis of 2 months, which has the possibility of extension. This candidate will be working from their hybrid Hamilton Office on a full time basis.

Your new role

Invoice Management :

  • Receive invoices from payables.
  • Print and match invoices to the corresponding purchase order package.
  • Flag any discrepancies or issues requiring action.

Purchase Order Support :

  • Assist in filing purchase order packages and packing lists as they arrive.
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing Specialist to request quotes from suppliers.
  • Administration Tasks :

  • Handle other administrative duties as required.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.

  • Some familiarity with payables and accounting processes.
  • Basic excel skills
