What You'll Do

Responsible to the Director of Nursing or Administrator for the provision, coordination, implementation, evaluation and supervision of nursing care to the residents of the facility. Delivers care, which is individualized and resident‑focused. The registered nurse is required to assist with the planning and development of the activities, which support the effective and efficient management of the nursing department. The registered nurse is expected to work in conjunction with all other departments in terms of care delivery.

What We're Looking For

Education & Experience

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Certificate in Gerontology or Nursing Unit Administration course
• Three to five years experience as a registered nurse, preferably with experience in a long term care setting

Gateway Haven has been approved for the Community Commitment Program for Nurses (CCPN) funding. Successful candidates for this position may be eligible for up to $25,000 in funding!

This position is governed by the terms and conditions outlined in the collective agreement between ONA and the County of Bruce.
