Full Time Facilities Manager Needed In Toronto!

Flexible to work 40 hours per week Monday through Friday.

Job Requirements :

Oversee and manage property and maintenance programs across the organizations’ locations

Respond promptly to resident and staff concerns regarding property-related matter

Ensure a safe, secure, healthy, and home-like environment for staff and individuals are served

Actively participate in the day-to-day operations of the department, including direct involvement with building system and / or facility repairs

Develop relevant operational and preventative maintenance plans, and procedures, and ensure effective and sustainable implementation

Manage and expand the network of suppliers, vendors and contractors to meet the ongoing needs of the agency

Actively participate in the annual operating and capital budgeting process; subsequently manage the budgets, and routinely report to the Chief Operating Officer on forecasting

Monitor and maintain the lifecycle of BRCCED’s physical assets / facilities in good repair and appearance, within the confines of the operating budget

Prepare and maintain correspondence, records and files

Prioritize work orders, allocate resources and supervise staff

Ensure completion and monitor various types of routine inspections (maintenance, capital, fire, health & safety, etc.)

Identify potential hazards, and threats and mitigate accordingly

Must Have :

5 years related experience in building / facility maintenance

2 3 years experience in team management

Ability to drive to different locations
