Intermediate SAP BusinessObjects Analyst :

On behalf of our government client, Procom is seeking an Intermediate SAP BusinessObjects  Analyst for a 12-month contract.

Intermediate SAP BusinessObjects Analytics Analyst for Job Details :

Our valued client requires an Intermediate SAP BusinessObjects Analyst with in-depth knowledge of SAP BusinessObjects to plan and perform an upgrade of the SAP BI 4.2 platform to SAP BI 4.3.

Intermediate SAP BusinessObjects Analyst for Responsibilities :

  • The successful candidate must have experience in SAP BusinessObjects administration with solid understanding of the upgrade process and a proven track record of successful BusinessObjects upgrades.
  • The scope of work for this contract will be to plan and perform an upgrade of the SAP BI 4.2 platform to SAP BI 4.3.
  • Working with the business intelligence governance team to evaluate, identify requirements and create detailed plan for the upgrade.
  • Preparing the environment for the upgrade, including CMS content cleanup / optimization, backup of content and configurations and ensure all prerequisites are met.
  • Identifying potential issues and manage risks.
  • Installing and upgrading servers to SAP BI 4.3.
  • Configuring and optimizing the upgraded SAP BI 4.3 environment including updating any customizations of third-party tools.
  • Validating and testing of the upgraded environment and ensure everything is working correctly, including system, security, connectivity, content, functionality, and performance.
  • Coordinating the upgrade and deployment of client tools.
  • Converting existing UNV universes to UNX universes.
  • Creating technical documentation to meet long-term support and training requirements.
  • Providing knowledge transfer to internal support staff.

Intermediate SAP BusinessObjects Analyst for Must Have Skills :

  • Five (5) years of experience developing and delivering or supporting successful business intelligence and analytics platforms and solutions.
  • Five (5) years of experience in SAP BusinessObjects, administering the platform, managing a data warehouse universe, and creating or modifying reports.
  • Five (5) years of experience in database technologies, database, and scripting such as Oracle or SQL Server.
  • Two (2) years of experience mentoring other business intelligence and analytics users / developers.

    • Intermediate SAP BusinessObjects Analyst Nice to Have Skills :

  • Data visualization experience with Microsoft Power BI software to create or modify dashboards.
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills demonstrating ability to work with various audiences.
  • Previous work experience in the public sector or large organizations

  • 12 months
