ROLE SUMMARY :

As an Environmental Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, implementing sustainable practices, and promoting environmental awareness within our organization.

You will collaborate with various departments to develop and oversee environmental programs aimed at reducing our environmental footprint and enhancing our commitment to sustainability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Environmental Compliance : Maintain records and documentation related to environmental permits, reports, and inspections.
  • Environmental Management Systems : Conduct regular audits and administer carbon footprint calculator :
  • Sustainability Initiatives : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improving resource efficiency, reducing waste, and implementing sustainable practices.
  • Training and Awareness : Organize and conduct training sessions on environmental policies, regulations, and best practices for employees.
  • Environmental Reporting : Analyze data and trends to track progress towards environmental goals and targets.
  • Stakeholder Engagement : Engage with external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, community groups, and suppliers, to foster positive relationships and address environmental concerns.

WHAT YOU BRING :

  • Post-secondary in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (2 years minimum) in environmental compliance, sustainability, or related fields.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

COMPENSATION : $46,090.00 - $59,646.00. The budgeted range takes into account several factors and qualifications that are considered in making compensation decisions including experience, education, training, licenses, certifications, and other business and organizational requirements.

Base pay is only one component of the total rewards offering at Arterra.
