Salary: $25-30/hr
Location: Halifax, Nova Scotia - Must be onsite 4 days per week

Responsibilities:

We are looking for Junior Accounts Payable Associates to join our client’s finance team in Halifax. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a business or accounting background to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment. Training will be provided by experienced team members.

Responsibilities:
- Process and verify vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts.
- Assist with payment runs and reconciliations.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
- Support the team with ad hoc finance tasks as required.

What you bring to the role:
- Business Degree with a focus on Accounting or Finance.
- Prior experience in accounting, finance, or controllership functions.
- Professional designation (CPA, CIA) or working toward one is an asset (including equivalent international designations).
- Familiarity with Oracle Fusion is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts if required.
