Food Safety & Compliance (SQF)

Position : Food Safety & Compliance (SQF)Location : Baie-D'UrféOur client is a well-established small-to-medium enterprise located in Baie-D'Urfé, specializing in food manufacturing and packaging. With a strong focus on quality, safety, and efficiency, they are looking to add a dedicated Food Safety & Quality Control Inspector to their team to help uphold and continuously improve their SQF standards.Responsibilities : - Conduct daily inspections on production lines to ensure compliance with SQF, GMP, and HACCP standards.- Monitor sanitation practices, food handling, and safety procedures throughout the facility.- Document non-conformances, corrective actions, and quality deviations in line with SQF requirements.- Prepare and maintain quality control reports and audit documentation for CFIA or internal inspections.- Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot quality issues and recommend process improvements.- Participate in internal and external audits to ensure continuous compliance with food safety regulations.- Assist with maintaining inventory and production data in Sage 50.Must-Haves : - SQF Certification (Safe Quality Food)- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a food manufacturing or processing environment- Strong understanding of GMP, HACCP, and CFIA standards- Knowledge of Sage 50 or similar ERP / accounting software- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills- Comfortable working full-time on-site in Baie-D'Urfé, QCNice-to-Haves : - Experience supporting or leading internal audits- Background in oil, beverage, or food packaging production environmentsWhy Join Them : - Family-oriented PME culture where your work has a visible impact- Opportunity to work closely with management and play a key role in maintaining high safety and quality standards- Stable, permanent position with room for professional growthPlease send your resume in Word format to Chloe Fleurant à chloe.fleurant@quantum.ca.REFER A PERM HIRE AND EARN UP TO $1,000!
