Verafin is a cutting-edge software company focused on delivering next generation fraud and money laundering solutions to financial institutions across North America. Our rapid growth and continuing success means we have an opening for a Software Developer (Data Integration) to join our team.
The primary responsibility of an Data Integration Developer is to design, implement and support technical solutions that will migrate data from our customers core banking system into the Verafin application. Each financial institution could be using one of the 100+ available core banking systems.
Role Responsibilities
Implement data normalization and ingestion solutions in AWS using Postgres, Java,Scala and Unix Utilities
Define a strategy for data flows to meet the requirements of the Verafin application
Excellent customer service skills and the ability explain technical solutions and issues to non-technical customers
Essential Skills & Qualifications
A university degree or college diploma in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
2-5 years development experience is required for this role
Strong analytical skills for complex and creative problem solving
Experience in object-oriented software development (Java)
Experience with Database technologies (PostgresSQL)
Automated testing
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; able to work closely with team members
You have a 'Customer first' attitude - always putting the customer's needs first
