Position Overview :
You will play a crucial role in both financial reporting and financial system leadership. This role involves preparing detailed financial reports, analyzing financial data, and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial records. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing financial systems to support the organization's reporting and analysis needs.
Responsibilities :
- Creation of internal and external financial reports using BI system.
- Demonstrate curiosity and ability to learn new systems and utilize the system report writing functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather system / reporting requirements and understanding system / data linkages to ensure successful implementation of system changes and upgrades.
- Ensure all financial system changes undergo detailed and documented end to end user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Proactively optimizes financial systems to support reporting and analysis needs.
- Participate in and lead key process automation initiatives to simplify business processes.
- Provide technical support, training for financial systems and troubleshoot issues.
- Conduct account reconciliations on a monthly / quarterly basis and resolve discrepancies, as required.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain the general ledger ensuring changes to the general ledger are integrated between financial systems.
Requirements :
5+ years of experience in a financial reporting role with information systems experience in building financial reports.Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science or related.Knowledge of finance and accounting principles : ability to read and interpret financial statements.Eagerness to learn new tools, topics and explore opportunities to improve efficiencies and capabilities.Exceptionally strong computer skills, particularly with spreadsheet modeling (Excel) and presentation software (Powerpoint).Exceptional communication skills capable of translating complex business requirements to a non-technical and technical audiences in a clear and concise manner.Ability to balance multiple deliverables and deadlines.Worked with enterprise planning and / or business intelligence software such as Cognos Enterprise Planning, Board, TM1, Power BI, Hyperion Financial Management, and MicroStrategy.Experience with financial systems including SAP, Concur, and Basware.Experience with programming languages such as SQL or other is a plus.CPA certification is a plus.WHY CHOOSE THE GLOBE :
