Structural Assembler
AAA Canada is a manufacturing company that has been providing subcontracting and technical assistance to industrialization, production and maintenance processes for about 15 years!
We operate in the Aerospace, Ground Transportation and Energy sectors.
A typical day?
- Responsible for structural installation, assembly and subassemblies of aircraft system, parts and components for an assigned project and station area.
- Use technical data and instructions provided by the Client / Aircraft manufacturer.
- Use templates and position components from PVA, Engineering Service drawings or any other materials provided by the Methods Department.
- Read and interpret plans or the manufacturing file.
- Adapt your work to various types of assembly : large / small components.
- Adjust and use manual or automated machines and tools according to the work to be done.
- Assemble the metal and / or composites parts according to the technical specifications provided by the client : Install required fasteners;
drill holes; ensure the right products are being used for assembling (bolts, tempered or mechanical rivets, screws, or accessories for fixing, supporting, or hanging components and sub-sets)Ensure the right products are being used for assembling (sealants, bonding, corrosion, paint)
- Ensure the conformity of the assemblies with respect to the manufacturing file.
- Inspect and check the installed units, parts, and equipment to ensure the fit, performance and that it is in compliance with the standards defined in the technical documentation.
- Comply with the quality standards; production rates.
- Respect health, safety and environmental standards.
- Report any discrepancies or irregularities.
There could be other related functions that may vary depending on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications :
- You have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position (as an Assembler) in the field of Aeronautics.
- You have at least a vocational diploma in aeronautical structure assembly or equivalent.
- You have excellent knowledge of reading drawings.
- You are dexterous.
- You have a quick mind and a strong attention to detail.
- Bilingualism (French - English) in oral and written communication is an important asset for communication in the multilingual environment of the client site and technical documentation.
