Merit Services Ltd. is actively seeking a highly motivated and skilled Administrative Assistant to join our client’s team in Toronto. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial part in providing comprehensive administrative support to our esteemed client in the construction sector, ensuring seamless and efficient operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Provide exceptional administrative assistance to facilitate the smooth functioning of day-to-day operations.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple tasks, including coordinating schedules, arranging meetings, and handling correspondence.
  • Prepare and edit documents, reports, and presentations with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date filing systems, both physical and digital, to ensure easy retrieval of information.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating professionalism and exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Conduct thorough research and compile data to support decision-making processes.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, accommodation, and logistics for team members and visitors.
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating company events, meetings, and conferences.
  • Uphold confidentiality and handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar administrative role.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality in all administrative tasks.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and handle multiple responsibilities with ease.
  • Prior experience in the construction sector is an advantage.
