Plumbing Account Manager

If so, we are currently in search of a sales-orientated person to join our team! You will be responsible for all outside plumbing sales, quotes, and after-sale service.
Your major focus will be on growing our business by calling on and servicing an existing account base as well as developing new accounts in the plumbing sales industry. Travel may be required within the region.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responding to inquiries and processing incoming calls and ordersContacting current customers and identifying new products and potential up-sellingEntering orders into the system and closing ordersSourcing materials for customers when currently not in stockOpening new accountsMaintaining knowledge base on current products and learning about new productsProviding product information, pricing quotations, and follow-up on quotesDeveloping and maintaining positive customer relationshipsEnsuring that customers are satisfied with order taking, product, pricing, deliveries, and overall serviceWorking closely with others to ensure customer needs are metSKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Minimum grade 12 education requiredCandidates should possess a minimum of two years’ sales experience (counter sales, inside sales, or outside sales) requiredPost-Secondary courses in Plumbing preferredSkilled in serving and negotiating with institutional and industrial purchasers, plumbing contractors, and the publicKnowledge of the plumbing industry or a background in plumbing products would be considered an assetValid driver's license is requiredFinal candidates will be required to undergo a security screening, including a criminal record check and drivers abstract. Employment is subject to screening completion that is satisfactory to Bartle & Gibson.
