This role is responsible for preparing photographing and merchandising pre-owned inventory while maintaining the dealership lot year-round. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the automotive industry.

About the opportunity

As an integral part of the we can do that operation this position is responsible for lot maintenance parking control and vehicle arrangement. Specifically:

• Ensure all pre-owned vehicles are lot-ready under the direction of the General Sales Manager
• Photograph vehicles and create accurate professional online listings
• Write clear vehicle descriptions and specifications including Certified Pre-Owned units
• Upload and maintain inventory listings on dealership website
• Move fuel park price tags and reposition vehicles as required
• Perform light cleaning and detailing of vehicles
• Remove snow and ice from vehicles lot areas and walkways during winter months
• Maintain a clean organized and safe lot environment year-round

About you.

Ideal candidates will have a background and experience as follows:

• 1 to 3 years of previous vehicle parking; dealership experience preferred
• Secondary School diploma or equivalent experience
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
• Physically able to walk stand shovel snow and move vehicles throughout the day
• Comfortable using cameras computers and basic software
• Valid (G) drivers license with a clean driving record
• Willing to learn take direction and work hands on as part of a team
• ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
