What’s involved in this role :

• An applicant will need to make sure that the company vehicle is kept in good condition
• Record keeping : It is important to log inspections, temperature control, and deliveries
• Customer service : A successful job applicant will maintain professional interaction with customers and colleagues
• Loading the truck : A successful job applicant will need to be able to arrange and secure the products in the truck in an efficient manner
• Reporting : Report any lost product or accidents that occur during the delivery
• Responsible for collecting signatures to prove a successful delivery

What you need to join our team :

• Class 1 drivers’ license with air brake certification
• Physically fit with a good attendance and personal safety record
• Previous experience with handheld computers is beneficial
• Excellent knowledge of Lower Mainland and designated truck routes
• Will be required to have successfully completed a Driving Assessment
• Flexibility is a requirement as days of work and start / end times may vary with departmental needs.
