Internship date : September 3rd to December 20th 2024

The role we are offering you :

By joining our team, you will have the opportunity toPerform routine technical tasks on site, in field or laboratory.

Receive training in the various phases of laboratory, office, plant or field technical work.

Are you ready to :

Learn and performpreventive maintenance tasks on the simulators and associated simulator systems.

Assist in diagnosing and correctingproblems on the simulators and associated simulator systems.

Utilize maintenance management system to record and track maintenance activities.

Complete all designated training activities.

Performpre-flight and post flight on designatedsimulators.

Perform basic visualalignments.

Run automatic Qualification Test Guide (QTG).

Assist withrefurbishment and hardware modifications.

Learn and complywith CAE quality management system.

Providecustomer service support and addresscustomerneeds in a timelymanner.

Performhousekeepingfunctions to maintain the simulators as required.

Performlogisticsduties, including parts received, repair, and testing / validation.

Perform administrative tasks as required.

Perform tasks to support the technical services group as required.

Our ideal candidatehas :

Minimum of 0 to 2 years of relevant experience.

Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules.

Ability to interpret system prints and schematics.

Proficiency in operating test equipment (oscilloscope, multi-meter, signal generator, logic analyzer, etc.).

Knowledge in analog and digital theory.

Computer literate (PC and / or computer mainframe / architecture).

Proficiency in soldering and circuit board repairs.

Some Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and suite.

Fluency in English.

PreferredEducation

2-year technical degree or 4 years in an electronic, avionic, or technical related field .

Location of the internship isin Moose Jaw

Internship will be carried out in person.

  • All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada and must meet the requirements of the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP). All hires will be required to complete, sign and return the Controlled Goods Program form within a week of its transmittal. They must also provide a copy of their passport or birth certificate. All students with a work permit must provide a copy of it and a police clearance certificate from the country or countries where they have resided in the past five years.
