Car Rental Coordinator

Location: Marino’s Auto Group

Reports to: Assistant Service Manager

Type of contract: Permanent Full-Time

Are you ready to take the first step towards an exciting career in a company committed to your success? Marino’s Automotive Group is looking for a Car Rental Co-ordinator at Choice Car Rental in Etobicoke!

The Car Rental Co-ordinator will be the first point of contact for all incoming customers attending their service appointments at Marino's Auto Group. You will be responsible for providing high-level quality customer service by ensuring all guests have an enjoyable experience at Marino's Auto Group. If you are a team player, have a passion for customer service, an ability to stay organized, and a high attention to detailer, then this role is for you!

Key responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a prompt, friendly and courteous manner.
• Conduct a walk-around of customer vehicles, identifying work to be done.
• Pickup and deliver customers to their destinations while their vehicle is in for service.
• Take vehicles through the car wash.
• Handle all customer inquiries and concerns with genuine intent.
• Ensure the service drive through area is clean and organized.
• Assist with tire inventory, moving tires to assigned storage area.
• Actively maintain the cleanliness of vehicles and lot.
• Monitor vehicles for damages and blemishes.
• Park and arrange vehicles in assigned spaces to maximize lot efficiency and space.
• Ensure all documentation is completed in an accurate and timely manner.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Rental agency experience is considered an asset
• 1-2 years in customer service
• The desire to provide a high level of customer service.
• Ability to lift, lower, hold and carry light to heavy loads.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to work in a team and possesses strong interpersonal skills with an upbeat and engaging attitude.
• Self-motiving with excellent work ethic
• Loves a fast pace environment.
• A valid G class driver's license and a clean driving abstract.

Working Environment:

• Hours: 40 Hours per week
• Working in Choice Car Rentals Department

Compensation:

• Compensation range: $19.00 CAD/ hour
• The range may vary based on experience and qualifications.

This compensation encompasses hourly pay and vacation pay as required under Ontario Regulation 476/24 made under the Employment Standards Act, 2000.
